SAILING ECO TOURS
Take a day trip on the classic ketch, MiCasa for a closeup look

on the season you may see dolphins and whales, mantarays, sea lions, seals,
sea birds and colorful tropical fishes.

SHOPPING

WATER SPORTS
Kayakers is popular at city beaches and the offshore islands, such as Isla de la Piedra. The estuaries of El Caimanero and Agua Grande to the south are of interest if you enjoy more diverse flora and fauna.
The best surf can be found at Punta Cerritos, Punta Chile, and Playa Olas Altas. The Palm Surf Shop on Calzada Camaron Sabalo usually has current conditions and recoomendations.
Winsurfing is best in the channels between the islands and the beaches of the north offer good conditions for those more advanced.
If you'd rather just have a day at the beach and some good seafood try Playa Norte.
FISHING
Mazatlan is famous for great sports fishing. Game fish like billfish; marlin, swordfish and sailfish and also wahoo and dorado in season. There are several fishing charter companies offering day trips with experienced bilingual guides. The fishermen at the south end of Player Del Norte will often be willing to take you out if you just enjoy throwing a line over and enjoying the day.

GOLF
